    It’s that time of year! The Oklahoma State Fair is here and I had the honor of being judge for the Great TASTE of a Fair. We judged 3 categories; sweetest of the sweet, savory, and new. There were about 6 entries in each category. And yes we tried it all. I had to limit each item to 1 bite so that I could fully judge fairly.     If you are looking for a place to stay up by Grand Lake in Oklahoma, then you are going to want to check out Thousand Oaks Resort. This adults only resort features 1 bedroom cabins with private hot tubs. They even have a couple RV spots available. Lucky R Ranch in Claremore, OK does Hug-A-Highland experienes where you can pay for a party of 4 (no young children) to brush, feed, and love on some baby highlands.
