The Best Animal Encounters in Oklahoma

Are you looking for animal encounters in Oklahoma? Maybe you want to hold a bobcat, or feed a lemur? You may be just like my daughter and have been wanting to pet a wolf! Well if you are looking for some exotic animal encounters, then Nomad’s Animal Encounters is the zoo for you.

Located in Seminole, OK, just 5 minutes off the interstate you will find a family owned and operated animal rescue. Here they have everything from chickens to bobcats and a chance to interact with them all.

We have been to several encounter zoo’s before, and have paid quite the pretty penny to be able to touch some of the more exotic animals. We once went to Branson and I paid over $100 just to be able to pet and feed some sloths. {worth it for sure, but expensive nonetheless}

At Nomad’s you pay $35/person, giving you a 2 hour tour of the zoo and their animals. Playing with baby lemurs, feeding the foxes, and even holding a bobcat. All of this is included in the price. There isnt add-on pricing for specific animals. Its really a great deal.

Check out this cute reel to see the animals in action here.

We had so much fun visiting this place and we will definitely be back in the spring when they have all the babies being born!

Which animal are you most looking forward to seeing up close?
