Family Fun Christmas In Oklahoma

Looking for some family fun Christmas locations in Oklahoma?

Well I am here to help! This blog post is all about local Christmas activities that we have gone to, along with some ideas that we have not had a chance to visit ourselves.

1. World’s Tallest Christmas Tree

Located in the heart of Enid, OK you can find the worlds tallest Christmas tree, standing at 140′ tall. Along with the tree, you will find an ice skating rink, Santa (limited days), and army truck rides, hot cocoa stands, and a light tunnel. After visiting the tree we went to Meadowlake Park and did their drive-thru lights. All in all it was a fun experience to see the tree in all its glory.

2. Roosevelt’s

Oklahoma’s #1 Christmas themed restaurant is located in Tulsa, OK. This gastropub is family friendly and goes completely 110% all out for Christmas with their decor. We each got a tasty burger and fries. I also sampled the Blitzen’s Mule and thought it was very tasty. To see the lights in action check out my IG reel here.

3. OKC Zoo Drive-Thru Lights

While pricey, at $60 a vehcile, you can take however many people can safely ride in your vehicle for no extra costs. It also comes with 4 walk-in tickets for that smaller section as well. Its by ‘reservations’ so purchase ahead of time. Like nothing I’ve ever seen before! Its something I would expect to see in a movie, not Oklahoma. Check out our visit in action here.

4. Sunset Patio Bar

This next location is a fun Elf themed Christmas restaurant located in Midtown of OKC. It is family & dog friendly until 9pm. Make sure to check out the upside down Christmas tree and definitely try the mac n’ cheese fries. Grab dinner and a festive drink (the frozen hot cocoa is delish) before heading out the look at lights!

5. Snowbound

Not family friendly but if you can get away for a date night, you might want to check out Snowbound pop up bar, located in Chicken n’ Pickle in OKC. This pop up bar does require the purchase of $5 tickets to hold your reservation but the decor and atmosphere is such a fun Christmas vibe, its worth checking out. My favorite drinks were the Fogged Goggles and Ski Patrol. We also of course had to do the Ski Shot, and chose the Cinnamon Toast Crunch which was delicious…and you get to keep the little ski boot shot glass. How fun?! Check out my tiktok for more!

Family Fun Christmas activities in Oklahoma; not yet visited.

1. Winter Glow

Winter Glow is OKC’s Riversport Nordic experience! Here you can ice skate, curl, climb, ski and more! Open until January 9th! Be sure to check website for hours, pricing, and event information.

2. North Pole Adventure

We used to take our kiddo here, until she got ‘too big’ for Santa. But this was a magical experience everytime and I feel like its just gotten bigger and better every year. Highly recommend for young children.

3. Devon Ice Rink

Hoping to get out and visit here this year, but alas time is flying so we shall see! Have you ever ice skated? I have…many many moons ago, but my kid has not yet. So hilarity and fun is sure to be had for us here….just hopefully no broken bones or achy backs!

Still need more ideas? Be sure to check out Metro Family Magazine, as they have a great list of local events with Santa and lights and more.
