Stir at The Simple Brew

Living in small towns has a lot of benefits. Something we wouldnt change or give up for even the best burger. Though we once thought about moving to this little town in New Mexico bc they had the best BBQ we had ever tasted! (He was originally from Texas.) Anyway, all these benefits of small town living does come with a cost. For the privacy, the space, the friendly neighbors…you give up great social atmospheric establishments. But ya’ll….Harrah, OK got itself its very own speakeasy bar. Stir at The Simple Brew is located on Harrah/Newalla Rd, just north of Reno. The owners Chad & Christy have promised us and delivered with genuine handcrafted cocktails. They will also have some small eats such as charcuterie boards, flatbreads, and other such things along with a brunch menu for the weekends appearing shortly. {You’ll also want to check out their coffee shop for some truly unique and delicious specialty coffees.}

Have you ever even had a traditional true Whiskey Sour? I hadn’t until I went there. Opened as of 5/18/2021, you can visit with your kids until 8pm, after that its 21+! The hubby and I of course immediately went and checked it out. Below is the drinks that we tried. Seriously there was only one drink I didnt like, and it was my friends dirty martini…I apparently DO NOT like olive juice! Ha!

So be sure to swing by and check them out! I really recommend all of the above drinks, but the New York Sour was my favorite of the evening.
