Load it up with onions, grilled, fried, or raw –I love them all! Â
You got a special sauce? Im sold -hook, line, and sinker! Â
I’ve been cyberstalking New State Burgers and Spirits for a while on Instagram, drooling over their burgers until we finally made it in to try them out for ourselves.Â
New State is located in the Plaza District, right across from The Mule, on NW 16th street in OKC.
Oh man did we enjoy it! Â
New State Burgers are delicioius! Juicy and full of flavor! Â
I of course had to try out one of their signature cocktails, so I got the Gomez. It was a grapefruit based drink, that was refreshing and not overly sweet. {Its a great choice if you want to keep your heartburn at bay! HA!}
While their menu is short, simple, and to the point; I promise you they deliver! Â
Even though its not on the menu, I ordered a fried onion burger, The El Reno, that I had been seeing on their instagram. It came topped with a special hollandaise sauce. Â
We ordered cheese fries all around because it was happy hour, half price cheese fries, and who doesn’t love some good cheese fries?! Â
These were nacho cheese sauce fries, which arent typically my favorite, but I definitely enjoyed scarfing these down along side my burger. Â
