OKC’s Burger Punk Is Here!

Are you obsessed with cheeseburgers? Do you like unique environments? Do you love cheese fries? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then Burger Punk in OKC is the place for you!

OKCs newest restaurant opened in the Paseo District on February 26, 2020. It started as a food truck back in 2018 and now its bringing us unique burgers, mac n cheese, and the most amazing mosh pit cheese fries!

So what’s special about this place? They have fun punk rock music playing. Black and hot pink decor, featuring a fuzzy velvet skull wall and a whiskey based cocktail menu!

What I Ordered for Lunch:

For my lunch I ordered the OG Punk and topped it with crispy fried onions. A delicious patty topped with cheese, onions, and punk sauce….what could be better?

Well….mosh pit fries of course! Fries topped with golden cheese sauce, crispy fried onions, bacon, and jalapenos. DELICIOUS! Make sure to pair it with their homemade ranch ($0.50 each) and really rock your face off!

So what else should you try while there? The OG Macaroni was a hit for us! Big yummy Della Terra pasta covered in delicious cheese sauce with a kick of jalapenos. This mac and cheese takes comfort to a whole next level!

While there I of course had to have one of the specialty cocktails and ordered the ‘No Laws’ drink. It featured OKCS Coop Ale Works newest product Will & Wiley hard seltzer. This drink was a total win for me! Light and refreshing and gets the job done!

OKC Burger Punk is sure to be a local fave. So get it and visit them soon to show the love! So enjoy a glass of whiskey and a basket of fries….no matter the time of day! 😉
